The MinimServer settings Serento expects
A few properties in minimserver.config change what Serento can show you.
Serento works with a default MinimServer install, but three properties unlock the parts people usually ask about.
itemTags controls which tags MinimServer will hand out per track. Serento asks for the MusicBrainz identifiers by name using MinimServer's upnp:userAnnotation[tag.X] extension, because a plain request for "all properties" deliberately omits custom tags, so they only arrive when asked for explicitly. Without them, album identification falls back to matching on text.
indexTags controls the browse hierarchy MinimServer builds. Adding entries here changes what appears as a top-level category.
Folder view shows the directory tree as MinimServer exposes it, so Browse → Folders reflects what is on disk rather than the hierarchy built from tags. It needs a library selected in Settings before it has anything to show.
The full guide, with the exact values, is on the Setup page and also inside the app under Settings → Libraries, where every value is selectable and copyable.
Still stuck
Write to us with your server, your streamer and what you expected to happen. If you can, send the diagnostic log from Settings, it usually answers the question faster than a description can.
